SNUBBER / BRACE / STRUT
It absorbs the pipe’s heat dislocation, prevents shaking by fixing the snubber in cases of pipe shaking or weight load due to temporary impact, and protects the pipe’s nozzle and other equipment by delivering the impact to exterior structure. It is a hydrodynamic snubber, which is built using the fluid’s viscosity. It can avoid resonance with the vibrating body.
It is a product with combined functions of SPRING SUP’T and snubber. It absorbs the pipe’s heat dislocation and prevents vibration by fixing itself when certain amount of exterior force is applied. Similar to variable spring, it is suitable in places with low heat dislocation due to the high spring constant. It is more economic compared to snubber and usually used in multiples.
It is a device used in cases with no vertical dislocation, and when compression load is applied in between the pipe and the support.
