CONSTANT SPRING HANGER
It is the most commonly used type and can be stably installed.
It is fastened by welding to a steel frame with a two-hole lug. The model is classified into Number 1 ~ 68 according to the applied load. Based on the space and shape of a weld zone in the steel frame, the direction of hanger installation is determined and close examination on interference is necessary during the design.
It is installed by using two channels on the upper part of pipe. It is the type used when the distance between steel frame and pipe is not enough. Since hanger base plate is fastened by directly welding to a steel frame or using bolts, it is easy for field installation and maintenance. The model based on a weight is similar with C-Type. It is the type that supports the lower part of pipe. It is mainly used when there is not steel structure where hanger can be installed on the top of pipe or hanger installation is not available due to the narrow upper space. Since hanger base plate is fastened by directly welding to a steel frame for using bolts, it is easy for field installation and maintenance. The model based on a weight is similar with C-Type. When the horizontal displacement of pipe is huge, deviation of pipe is greatly concerned and close examination on interference is necessary during the design.
It is mainly used in the location where interference with the hanger body around the steel structure is greatly concerned. It can adjust the installation location of hanger by using the length of hanger rod, it is easy for maintenance. The model based on a weight is similar with C-Type. As hanger rod supports hanger, it is not stable compared to the other models. Close examination on interference is necessary during the design.
