The most commonly used TYPE that is easy to build. It is built using the single hole lug to directly weld on the steel frame, while the model is divided based on the load and the amount of displacement. The hanger’s installation location is determined according to the space and shape of the steel frame’s welded part, while a close examination of interference is required during the design process.
Built on the upper pipe using two channels. It is the type used when there aren’t enough space between the steel frame and the pipe. It is easy to install onsite and perform maintenance since the hanger base plate is joined to the steel frame using bolt and direct welding. During the design process, a thorough revision on interference is needed, depending on the installation point’s spacing and shape.
It is the type that supports the lower part of the pipe. It is mostly used in cases where there is no steel structure on the upper pipe or not enough upper spacing to install the hanger. It is easy to install onsite and perform maintenance since the hanger base plate is joined to the steel frame using bolt and direct welding. Dislocation of the pipe is an area of concern if the pipe’s horizontal displacement amount is high, requiring thorough revision on interference during design process.
Used in cases when installation is not easy due to potential interference of the hanger body around the steel structure.
